About Rose Bunch

Rose Bunch is a MacDowell Fellow, Fulbright Scholar, and two-time Pushcart Prize nominee in fiction and nonfiction. Her work has appeared in Tin House, New Letters, The Greensboro Review, Gulf Coast, River Styx, Poem, Memoir, Story, Fugue, and others. Her short stories are anthologized in Speed Chronicles from Akashic, a 14-author collection exploring the methamphetamine industry, and Surreal South from Press 53. She has been awarded third prize in the Playboy College Fiction Contest, first prize in the New Letters Dorothy C. Cappon Essay Contest, and second prize in the River Styx Schlafly Microfiction Contest. Fellowships and residencies include MacDowell, Yaddo, an ALSCW Fellowship to the Vermont Studio Center, the Studios at Key West, and a Tennessee Williams Scholarship. After receiving her MFA at the University of Montana, she completed a Ph.D. at Florida State University.
