Rose Bunch is winner of the 2009 New Letters Dorothy C. Chappon Essay Contest for “Norman Mailer is Coming to Dinner,” and has work forthcoming in Tin House and The Greensboro Review. Her fiction and nonfiction has appeared in Gulf Coast, Fugue and River Styx, for which she received second prize in their 2009 Micro Fiction Contest. A 2008 Pushcart Prize Nominee, she has also been awarded third prize in the Playboy Fiction Contest, an honorable mention in The Atlantic’s College Nonfiction Contest, and was a 2009 Tennessee Williams Scholar at the Sewanee Writers Conference. After receiving her MFA at the University of Montana, she is now completing a PhD at Florida State University.
